SAPS NEWS: Two Arrested in Swartkops for Possession of Stolen Vehicle & Goods

SWARTKOPS: Two suspects aged 43 and 35 were arrested at 10:15 in Swartkops this morning.

This follows after a housebreaking and theft of a motor vehicle took place in Cradock during the night. A white Ford Ranger bakkie and various items were stolen.

Just after 10:00 this morning, the SAPS K9 Unit followed the vehicle tracker and found the vehicle driving in Newlands Street, Swartkops. Two suspects were arrested that were in the vehicle. On searching the vehicle, the stolen tyres were also discovered and confiscated.

They will appear before the Motherwell Magistrates’ Court on Monday to face charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and stolen goods.
