PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Managing the Company’s owned and paid for media properties, in digital and other formats.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of PEP owned media properties
  • Social media
  • Website
  • LinkedIn
  • In store TV
  • Other formats
  • Planning and co-ordination of promotional activities on digital platforms for all brands within PEP
  • Media contracting to third parties
  • Liaise and closely interact with internal marketing and communication managers and external suppliers and partners
  • Liaise with advertising and other agencies (briefing and debriefing)
  • Manage digital applications development with suppliers and partners
  • JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Business degree / National Diploma in Digital Marketing and/or Marketing Management
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office
  • 3 – 5 Years experience in Digital Marketing essential, at a middle management level
  • Experience in media planning and buying
  • Experience in retail or with retail clients would be an advantage
  • Understanding of the LSM 2-6 market segments would be an advantage
  • Competencies required:

  • Proven digital marketing skills;
  • Marketing and communication skills (with high quality writing skills and excellent presentation skills);
  • Good with planning and organising;
  • Team player;
  • Problem assessment;
  • Innovative;
  • Creative with good attention to detail.
  • Available to travel
  • Own transport required
