A horrific high impact crash has claimed the lives of three men when a light motor vehicle, a Mazda 323, collided into a tree on the R40 Road near Dwarsloop in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga.
Departmental Spokesperson, Moeti Mmusi said the collision happened around 03h40 on Tuesday morning.
It’s believed that the driver lost control over the vehicle which caused the vehicle to veer of the road before hitting a tree. Due to the high impact of the crash, the vehicle was split in half. The driver and his two passengers were declared deceased on the scene.
“The driver had just dropped passengers in Shatale and were returning to Sabie when the crash took place”, Mmusi said. The exact cause of the accident is not yet known and will form part of police investigation.
